• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience

• 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant housekeeping or cleaning experience

Work Site Environment

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a pristine appearance
• Dust furniture and all accessible surfaces thoroughly
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change sheets according to established standards
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries to residents
• Stock linen closets and ensure adequate supply levels at all times
• Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers promptly
• Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as required
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or repair needs to the supervisor
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols and procedures
• Handle cleaning supplies and equipment responsibly and in accordance with guidelines

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality standards
• Repetitive tasks requiring consistency and focus
• Physically demanding work including bending, crouching, and kneeling
• Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Weight handling up to 9 kg (20 lbs.)
