Responsibilities
- Work with honey bees and manage bee colonies
- Harvest honey and honey-related products
- Inspect hives for health, productivity, and queen status
- Assemble, maintain, and repair beekeeping equipment and hive components
- Feed bees and administer treatments as required
- Extract, process, and package honey
- Move and transport hives to various locations
- Assist with pollination services
- Monitor bee colonies for pests, diseases, and parasites
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
- Harvest crops as needed
- Follow all safety protocols when working with bees
- Record hive data and report observations to supervisors
- Assist with seasonal preparation including winterizing hives
- Load and unload supplies and equipment
Equipment and Machinery Experience

- Beekeeping equipment (training provided)
Own Tools and Equipment Required
- Steel-toed safety boots
Transportation and Travel Information
- Public transportation is not available
