Responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care
• Administer medications as prescribed and directed
• Assist clients in water activities (e.g., pool therapy or bathing)
• Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
• Assist in regular exercise routines, such as walking
• Change non-sterile dressings as required
• Feed or assist in feeding
• Launder clothing and household linens
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Provide personal care tailored to individual needs
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Cook healthy and balanced meals according to dietary requirements
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behaviour
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
• Accompany client to appointments or outings
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment
• Ensure client comfort and well-being at all times
• Engage client in meaningful conversation and activities
• Respect client privacy, dignity, and independence
