Responsibilities

• Assist in regular exercise routines, such as daily walks
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs
• Assist with daily living activities as required
• Monitor and report changes in client health or well-being
• Engage client in meaningful conversation and social activities
• Accompany client to appointments or outings as needed
• Ensure medication reminders as directed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment
• Assist with mobility support when necessary
• Provide respectful care that promotes dignity and independence
• Communicate regularly with family members regarding client’s progress
• Create a warm and positive atmosphere in the home

Credentials (Preferred)

• Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate (an asset)
• CPR Certificate
• First Aid Certificate
