Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
- Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in warehouse and processing areas
- Pick orders and stock inventory accurately
- Weigh materials and goods according to specifications
- Wrap goods for storage and shipment
- Pack and unpack goods carefully
- Sort, crate, and stack goods properly
- Transport and distribute materials and goods throughout the facility
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
- Inspect forklift equipment before each shift
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns
- Ensure proper storage of seafood products in cold storage areas
- Follow food safety and handling protocols
- Assist with loading trucks for distribution
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Support production and processing operations as needed
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations
