Job Overview
Harwinder Kaur is seeking a caring, dependable Home Child Care Provider to support daily childcare needs in a private home setting in Abbotsford, British Columbia. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, organized, and attentive to child safety, routines, and emotional well-being. You will care for infants and children by supporting hygiene, meals, rest periods, play-based learning, and a safe home environment. You will also perform light housekeeping duties related to childcare and maintain basic daily records for parents. Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

Supervise and care for children, ensuring attentive, safe, and age-appropriate care
Change diapers and support infant care routines with cleanliness and comfort
Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, maintaining consistent daily schedules
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to family preferences and any guidance provided
Prepare infants and children for rest periods and maintain calm nap/quiet-time routines
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, encouraging positive habits and respectful behaviour
Tend to emotional well-being of children through patience, reassurance, and positive guidance
Organize activities such as games and outings to support learning, movement, and social development
Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, using calm, consistent approaches
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, including basic child-proofing awareness and tidy play areas
Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children (meals, naps, diaper changes, mood/behaviour notes)
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to childcare (tidying toys, cleaning after meals, maintaining child areas)
