Job Overview
SEA-FORCE HYPERBARIC INC. is seeking an experienced Diving Supervisor to lead commercial diving operations and ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with strong judgement, calm decision-making, and the ability to coordinate dive teams and hyperbaric support under demanding conditions. You will oversee daily dive planning and execution, enforce safety procedures, coordinate emergency readiness, and ensure proper documentation and communication with clients and internal teams. If you have proven supervisory experience in commercial diving and want a well-compensated, project-based leadership role in Mount Pearl, this is an excellent opportunity.

Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
Experience
- 5 years or more of relevant commercial diving experience, including supervisory responsibilities
Credentials (Required)
- CPR Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) Certificate
Work Setting
- Project-based commercial diving and hyperbaric operations
- Shift work and on-call response depending on operational and client requirements
- Safety-critical environment requiring strict adherence to procedures and regulations
Key Responsibilities (Recommended Scope for the Role)
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise diving operations, ensuring work is performed safely and to specification
- Conduct pre-job briefings and confirm dive plans, hazard assessments, and emergency procedures are understood by the team
- Verify readiness of personnel, equipment, and systems prior to dive operations, including safety and communications checks
- Monitor diving activities and ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and applicable regulations
- Maintain dive logs, safety records, and operational documentation with accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate with clients, project leads, and supporting teams to align schedules, deliverables, and site requirements
- Ensure appropriate PPE is used and WHMIS/chemical handling requirements are followed where applicable
- Respond to incidents or near misses, initiate emergency response when required, and ensure proper reporting and follow-up
- Support mentoring and performance management of dive team members, maintaining a professional, respectful work culture
