Responsibilities
As a Child Caregiver, your key responsibilities include:
- Changing diapers and following parents’ lead on toilet training.
- Sterilizing bottles and preparing formulas for infants.
- Traveling with the family on trips and assisting with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
- Bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children.
- Disciplining children using methods requested by the parents.
- Maintaining records of daily activities and health information related to the children.
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals for the children.
- Preparing infants and children for rest periods.
- Supervising and providing attentive care to children.
- Fostering the emotional well-being of children.
Requirements
- Languages: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Experience an asset
- Work Setting: Employer’s home
