We are seeking a Childcare Worker – Out-of-School Care (OSC) to join our team! You will assist in the development and supervision of children.

Responsibilities :

• Supervise and interact with children in a safe and compassionate manner
• Implement creative activities to assist with child development
• Create a positive and nurturing environment for children
• Perform a variety of tasks, such as setting up the site daily, picking kids up from school, help prepare a monthly calendar of activities, end of shift cleaning

Qualifications :

• Previous experience with childcare or other related fields
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children and their parents
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Have taken (or will take) a Responsible Adult course (on-line), or have completed 20 hours of childcare related courses
• Current First Aid (If you don’t have it we will pay for you to take it)
• Must be a minimum of 19 years old
• Complete a Criminal Record Check (CRC) through the Ministry of Children and Family Development,
• A huge asset would be an applicant with a Class 2 or 4 driver’s license. We will pay you to help get it, which will be an asset you will hold forever.
