PBC Solutions is seeking a Data Management Analyst to join our dynamic team! This full-time, hybrid position requires regular in-office presence in either Saanichton or Burnaby, BC.

Position Summary
The Data Management Analyst will support data governance initiatives, enhance data catalog tools, and contribute to enterprise-wide data management strategies. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely, and secure data management.

Primary Duties

• Support data governance workstreams and council activities.
• Document metadata, ensuring its accuracy and relevance.
• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions on data assets.
• Assist in selecting and implementing data catalog tools.
• Promote best practices for data quality, governance, and security.
• Conduct data management maturity assessments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with data standards.
• Provide ongoing support for automation and process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Information Sciences, or related fields.
• 3-5 years of experience in data management, data governance, or equivalent.
• Strong skills in SQL, data modeling, and analysis.
• Familiarity with data catalog tools (e.g., Purview, Collibra, or Informatica).
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Certification in data governance or data management (e.g., DAMA CDMP).
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of Federal or Provincial data privacy regulations.
