Job Overview
Les Jardins d’Évangéline is hiring a Dining Room Attendant to support smooth, high-quality meal service in a fast-paced dining environment. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, customer-focused, and proud of maintaining cleanliness and organization. You will take customer orders, serve at counters or buffet tables, package take-out items, restock refrigerators and salad bars, and keep dining areas clean and ready for guests. If you work well as part of a team and can maintain friendly service while meeting tight meal-time timelines, this is a great opportunity for stable, permanent full-time employment with LMIA support available for eligible international candidates.

Experience

• 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience in food service, cafeteria/dining room service, counter service, or hospitality

Work Setting

• Dining room/cafeteria-style service environment
• Shift work aligned with breakfast, lunch, and dinner service periods

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Take customers’ orders accurately and confirm special requests when needed
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables efficiently and politely
• Package take-out food carefully, ensuring correct items and clean presentation
• Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs and reset areas quickly between service periods
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars, rotate items as directed, and maintain clean presentation
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash and maintain tidy service and dining areas
• Support basic cleanliness and hygiene practices, including safe handling of food contact surfaces
• Communicate with kitchen and service staff to keep meal service organized and on schedule
