Job Overview
C2 Farms JV is hiring a Farm Equipment Operator to support grain farming operations in Ridgedale, Saskatchewan. This role is ideal for someone with practical equipment experience who can operate safely, follow field plans, and keep machinery running reliably through planting, spraying, and harvest. You will operate and maintain tractors, combines, seed drills, and other planting/harvest equipment, perform scheduled maintenance and minor repairs, and support crop tasks including cultivation, irrigation, fertilizing, spraying, and harvesting. Experience is an asset, and motivated candidates who learn quickly and take pride in safe, efficient fieldwork are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
• Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops according to field plans and seasonal schedules
• Fertilize and spray crops as directed, following safe handling procedures and application timing
• Harvest crops while minimizing losses and maintaining safe equipment operation practices
• Perform scheduled maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to reduce downtime and support field readiness
• Conduct routine inspections and report mechanical issues, wear, or safety concerns promptly
• Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed consistently in the field and yard
• Maintain clear work notes and communicate daily progress and equipment needs to supervisors
