Are you an experienced and reliable driver with a Class 1A license? ADL Foods is on the lookout for a committed Delivery Driver to join our team.

If you’ve got a minimum of 3 years of commercial truck driving experience, excellent customer service skills, and can handle the physical aspects of the job, we want you! Bring your expertise to a dynamic role where you’ll play a key part in our delivery operations.

Position Overview :

The Truck Driver role at ADL Foods is crucial to our operational success. The primary focus involves delivering our quality products to Food Service Customers and efficiently transporting goods across Prince Edward Island.

Location : ADL Foods, Summerside, PE

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver products efficiently and safely, ensuring top quality during transport by managing
  • temperatures and handling conditions.
  • Load and unload products daily according to designated delivery routes.
  • Accurately manage customer invoices and obtain signatures for all deliveries.
  • Collect and securely handle cash / cheque payments, keeping precise financial records.
  • Follow return policies, ensuring proper documentation and coordination with warehouse staff.
  • Diligently maintain daily logbooks and keep the truck and trailer in optimal condition.
  • Adapt to additional duties as needed, maintaining flexibility in operational changes.

Qualifications :

  • Class 1A driver’s license required.
  • At least 3 years of commercial truck driving experience, specifically with tractor trailers.
  • High school diploma / GED preferred.
  • Customer service experience necessary.
  • Previous delivery experience essential.
  • Proficient in writing and communication.
  • Physical capability for heavy lifting and using hand carts.
  • Flexibility to start shifts early, with timings adjusted according to route requirements.
