Job Overview
Kindred Home Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Workers to provide essential support and care to individuals and families in Saint John, NB. This position involves offering in-home personal and health-related assistance, allowing clients to maintain their comfort and independence.

Job Duties

• Provide care and companionship during periods of incapacitation, convalescence, or family disruption.
• Administer bedside and personal care to clients, including assistance with mobility, bathing, and personal hygiene.
• Help clients with dressing and undressing.
• Plan, prepare, and serve meals, including special diets, and assist in feeding as needed.
• Perform routine health-related tasks under the supervision of a nurse or home care agency, such as changing non-sterile dressings, assisting with medication administration, and collecting specimens.
• Conduct light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, washing dishes, and making beds.

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

Credentials
