Purpose :
The Driver will work directly with the President & CEO, providing reliable and professional transportation to various meetings, events, site visits, and appointments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in driving, with a keen understanding of privacy, confidentiality, and a fast-paced, regimented environment. Proficiency in French is an asset.
Responsibilities :
- Manage the President’s daily schedule, including appointments, meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
- Drive the President to various locations, ensuring timely arrival.
- Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the President.
- Ensure the President is well-prepared for all engagements and has all necessary materials.
- Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle, ensuring it is clean, fueled, and in optimal condition.
Requirements :
- Proven experience as an personal assistant, or in a similar role.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to speak French is an asset.
Role Specific Requirements :
- Background in military or police service is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations with poise and professionalism.
- Experience in managing a high-profile executive’s schedule and travel arrangements.
- Strong understanding of privacy and confidentiality protocols.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
