RB Auto Wrecking Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and reliable Mechanic Helper to join our team in Maple Ridge, BC. This role is essential to the seamless operation of our workshop, offering hands-on support to tradespersons and ensuring the efficient maintenance of machinery and equipment. Responsibilities

• Move tools, equipment, and materials as required.
• Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers in completing tasks.
• Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe workspace.
• Replace parts as needed under supervision.
• Perform general labouring activities in warehouses.
• Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment.
• Assist in setting up and dismantling equipment.

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience

Work Site Environment

• Conditions: Outdoors, noisy, dusty, wet/damp
• Physical Capabilities:Physically demanding
• Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
• Bending, crouching, and kneeling
• Handling heavy loads (up to 23 kg or 50 lbs)
• Working under pressure
