Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Bush Pilot to join our seasonal operations in Dawson, Yukon. This is a unique chance to fly over breathtaking wilderness, support government missions, and be part of a tight‑knit crew that values safety, precision, and adventure. - Competitive hourly wage of $55.00 - Seasonal full‑time contract with possibility of extension - LMIA sponsorship available for qualified international candidates

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre‑flight inspections and ensure weight‑and‑balance compliance for each mission.
  • Operate fixed‑wing aircraft (and occasionally helicopters) in varied weather and terrain.
  • Monitor engine and system performance throughout the flight; respond promptly to any malfunctions.
  • Execute emergency procedures with calm professionalism, prioritizing safety of crew and passengers.
  • Maintain clear communication with air‑traffic control, ground crews, and flight dispatchers.
  • Document equipment issues, corrective actions, and required repairs in detailed flight logs.
  • Coordinate flight activities, brief crew members, and lead safety briefings before each sortie.
  • Perform post‑flight inspections and ensure the aircraft is ready for the next operation.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma (or equivalent industry training).
  • Experience: 2 – 3 years of pilot‑in‑command time, preferably in bush or remote operations.
  • Licences & Endorsements:
    • Commercial Pilot License (CPL) – fixed wing
    • Landplane and Seaplane Endorsements
    • Valid driver’s license (required for ground transport).
  • Language: Fluent English (written and spoken).
