At Techo-Bloc, our Production Labourers play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations. This position is perfect for those who are new to the industry or looking for a stepping stone to a career in manufacturing.

Our production labourers are true concrete connoisseurs! On a daily basis, you will be handling and inspecting concrete blocks, while serving as the “right hand” to our machine operators and maintenance crew.

• Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment in the plant, either manually or with mechanical equipment;
• Perform complete examination of finished product for height, shape, color and consistency applying knowledge of company specific standards as indicated and applicable for production systems;
• Complete block checks, remove all defective parts from pallet or carton and replace defective parts with quality parts.
• These duties vary depending on the production line, product and process to which the laborer is assigned;
• Sort, pack, crate and wrap materials and products;
• Performs other laborer and worker duties;
• Clean machines and work areas.

Qualifications

• You will use your manual skills. You will frequently be required to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds (23kg).
• We won’t hide it from you, this is a physically demanding position;
• Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination and a combination of postures : sitting, standing and walking required;
• Punctuality, concentration and attention to detail;
• Team spirit and collaboration.
