Job Description:

Job Summary
This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. He/She may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-Time – Permanent
Work Location: 12424 Dixie Road Caledon ON
Workdays: Sunday to Thursday
Shift Start: 12pm-5pm. Shift averages 3-5 hours a day. Start times/finish times may vary with operational need. Flexibility required.
Pay rate: Pay rate of $17.80/hr. (base rate of $15.55/hr. + an hourly bonus of $2.25).

Responsibilities:

• Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.
• Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Ability to read and memorize postal codes.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Warehouse experience – Preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay rate of $17.80/hr. (base rate of $15.55/hr. + an hourly bonus of $2.25).
• Automatic pay rate progression as per the existing Union Collective Agreement (top rate: $26.79/hr. after 48 months).
