Job Overview
As a Health Care Support Worker, you will:
- Provide specialist care and planned interventions to patients within the Dementia Assessment Unit.
- Deliver clinical and personal care under the supervision of registered healthcare professionals and senior healthcare staff.
- Take leadership from Assistant Practitioners or Senior Healthcare Support Workers for agreed tasks.
- Ensure patient safety and a positive patient experience by treating everyone with respect, dignity, and courtesy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the delivery of care plans and interventions.
- Promoting patient independence through compassionate and respectful care.
- Monitoring and maintaining patient safety during all care activities.
- Participating in ongoing training and development programs.
