About the Role

We are looking for a hardworking Material Handler who thrives in a fast-paced industrial setting. You will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring materials and products are efficiently handled, moved, and organized. This position offers hands-on experience with various material handling equipment and the opportunity to work as part of a professional team committed to safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
• Operate a variety of equipment including forklifts, cranes, loaders, and industrial lift trucks to transport materials
• Weigh, pack, unpack, sort, crate, and stack goods according to company standards
• Install, lash, and secure goods to ensure safe transportation
• Transport and distribute materials and goods throughout the facility
• Organize and maintain accurate inventory records
• Ensure all handling procedures comply with safety regulations and company policies
• Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs

Work Environment

• Industrial/commercial setting with varied conditions
• Work may be performed outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces
• Noisy environment – hearing protection provided
• Fast-paced atmosphere requiring focus and efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Language: English (essential for safety communication and team coordination)
• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
• Experience: 1 to 2 years in a material handling or warehouse role
• Valid Forklift Operator Certification (mandatory)
• Valid driver’s licence
• Previous experience operating cranes, industrial lift trucks, forklifts, and loaders is highly preferred

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Capable of lifting and handling materials up to 23 kg (50 lbs) regularly
• Stamina to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
