Job Overview
Tim Hortons in Morley is hiring Food Counter Attendants to support daily restaurant operations in a busy quick-service environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, can move quickly while staying organized, and is committed to cleanliness and customer service. You will take orders, prepare and finish simple food items, package take-out, operate kitchen and counter equipment, wash dishes, restock supplies, and keep the restaurant clean and ready for guests. Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

Take customers’ orders accurately and provide friendly, efficient service
Serve customers at counters or buffet tables and ensure orders are complete and correct
Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items following Tim Hortons standards
Portion and wrap foods and package take-out food neatly and correctly
Keep records of the quantities of food used as required by shift procedures
Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables when required
Carry and replace linen as needed
Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs; load buspans and trays and return items to the kitchen
Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware; sanitize items properly
Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand; scour pots and pans
Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units
Clean and sanitize kitchen areas including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
Handle and store cleaning products safely according to instructions
Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
Stock refrigerators and salad bars and keep storage areas organized
Remove kitchen garbage and trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift
Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors and maintain a safe, slip-free environment
Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit as required
Sharpen kitchen knives when assigned and store tools safely
