Responsibilities

• Change diapers and tend to infants and young children
• Take full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks
• Shop for food and household items as needed
• Wash, iron, and press clothing and linens
• Discipline children as per the parents’ instructions
• Teach children personal hygiene and social skills
• Keep records of children’s daily activities and health information
• Maintain a safe and healthy home environment
• Organize engaging activities, such as games and outings
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the children
• Prepare children for rest periods
• Supervise and care for children, including taking them to school and appointments
