Position Summary:
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee all shipping functions at the Ennis Fabrics Distribution Centre. This is a hands-on, physical supervisory role that requires leadership, motivation, and strong problem-solving skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
Leadership & Supervision:

• Lead and motivate Distribution Centre staff
• Act as the Manager when the Manager is unavailable
• Train staff on company procedures
• Step in and assist with any role when needed
• Troubleshoot problems and find solutions

Productivity & Employee Management:

• Proactively seek ways to increase productivity and reduce errors
• Conduct meetings with employees to address concerns
• Assist in the recruitment and scheduling of employees
• Support progressive discipline processes and yearly performance appraisals

Operational Oversight:

• Ensure quality control and that all products meet Ennis Fabrics standards
• Manage inventory control and cycle counts, including investigation of overages and shortages
• Interact with carriers to resolve shipping/receiving issues
• Maintain overall cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse
• Assign resources to ensure that departments meet SLAs for receiving and shipping
