Major Responsibilities

Design and construction administration of HVAC, Controls, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.
Provide conceptual designs and develop them into high-quality detailed plans.
Conduct HVAC calculations and analysis using industry-standard programs (e.g., Carrier HAP).
Ensure designs conform to all applicable codes and client standards.
Perform field investigations, prepare inspection reports, and review design drawings.
Write and edit mechanical specifications.
Guide entry-level engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Manage multiple projects effectively, ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
4+ years of experience in Plumbing and Fire Protection systems design.
Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario or equivalent.
