Job Overview
Michelle Azbel is seeking a dependable Visiting Homemaker to provide in-home personal support and household assistance in Thornhill, Ontario. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, respectful, and able to manage daily routines that support comfort, safety, and well-being. You will assist with personal care and bedside care, medication routines as directed, meal planning and cooking (including therapeutic diets), laundry and minor mending, shopping for household supplies, companionship, and light housekeeping. Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis, but it is not a condition of employment. Experience

• 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience in home support, caregiving, homemaking, or similar work
• On-the-job orientation may be provided for household routines and preferences

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Administer bedside and personal care while maintaining privacy, dignity, and comfort
• Administer medications as directed and follow established schedules and instructions carefully
• Plan therapeutic diets and menus as directed and prepare meals aligned with dietary needs and preferences
• Cook and prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
• Provide companionship and supportive conversation to promote emotional well-being
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe, tidy, and comfortable home environment
• Launder clothing and household linens; fold, store, and keep items organized
• Mend clothing and linens when needed (minor repairs)
• Shop for food and household supplies and help maintain basic household stock levels
• Observe and report changes in routine, appetite, mobility, mood, or overall well-being to the employer promptly
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries in a private home setting
