Job Overview
G.C. JENSEN ACRES INC. is hiring a Farm Equipment Operator to support grain farming operations in Milden, Saskatchewan. This role is ideal for someone with practical field experience who can operate equipment safely, follow crop schedules, and keep machinery running reliably from planting through harvest. You will help with planting, cultivation, irrigation, fertilizing and spraying, harvesting, and general farm duties while performing minor adjustments and repairs and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Staff accommodation is available, making this a strong opportunity for candidates who want stable, permanent full-time work in rural Saskatchewan with LMIA support available for eligible international candidates.

Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required

Experience

• 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant farm/equipment operation experience (grain farming preferred)

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
• Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops according to field plans and seasonal schedules
• Fertilize and spray crops following instructions and safe handling procedures
• Harvest crops while minimizing losses and maintaining safe equipment operation practices
• Perform general farm duties including yard upkeep, cleanup, and support tasks during peak periods
• Make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment and report larger issues promptly
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper storage of tools and materials
• Follow farm safety procedures and assist in keeping equipment and work areas hazard-free

• Ability to work independently and also coordinate with the farm team
