Job Overview
John Evers and Victoria Riley are seeking a caring and dependable Nanny to provide attentive in-home childcare in Etobicoke, Ontario. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, organized, and safety-focused, and who can confidently support a multi-aged group of children, including infants. You will manage infant routines such as diapering, bottle sterilization, and formula preparation, support daily schedules, prepare nutritious meals, organize activities and outings, assist with school and appointment transportation, and maintain a clean, healthy home environment. Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis, but it is not a condition of employment. Public transportation is available, and travel expenses may be paid by the employer for job-related travel.

Experience
- 1 to less than 7 months of relevant childcare experience (private home, babysitting, nannying, daycare support, or similar)
- On-the-job orientation will be provided for household routines and expectations

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)
- Supervise and care for children, ensuring attentive supervision and safety at all times
- Change diapers and support infant care routines with cleanliness and comfort
- Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas according to instructions and safe feeding practices
- Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, supporting consistent daily routines
- Prepare infants and children for rest periods and maintain calm nap/quiet-time routines
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to family preferences and any dietary guidance
- Organize activities such as games and outings that support learning, movement, and social development
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, encouraging positive habits and respectful behaviour
- Tend to emotional well-being of children through supportive communication and positive guidance
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, using calm and consistent approaches
- Take children to and from school and to appointments as required, following agreed schedules
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to childcare (tidying toys, cleaning after meals/activities, maintaining child areas)
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, including tidy child spaces and hazard awareness
- Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, following routines and instructions provided
- Communicate clearly with parents regarding routines, schedules, and any concerns while maintaining professionalism and discretion
