Job Title: Mechanic
Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba
Shift: Morning, Night, Overnight
Wage: $20.00 per hour

This position disassembles and assembles parts for finished products and ensures proper fit and functionality before leaving the line as a finished product.

Responsibilities :

  • Disassemble and reassemble parts for finished products
  • Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly
  • Inspect finished products for proper functioning. Check mechanical assemblies and
  • subassemblies for alignment and proper functioning
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical problems
  • Operate or tend automated assembling equipment.
  • Operate small cranes to transport or position larger parts
  • Work with line assemblers to communicate issues found in run-off

Qualifications :

  • Previous mechanical experience required
  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical problems
  • Good understanding of mechanical, hydraulics and electrical systems
  • Must be a reliable and dependable worker
  • Possess good manual dexterity
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work well as a team member
