Job Title: Production Worker
Location: 64 Healey Rd, Bolton, ON
Shift: Morning, Night, Overnight
Wage: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Maratek is a fast-growing company and are looking to hire a dedicated Production Worker to support day to day operational tasks within the solvent recycling plant

We are searching for a dedicated labourer to perform a variety of tasks, including distilling solvent chemicals, lifting 25lbs-50lbs, loading and unloading trucks, moving solvent waste containers, and variety of other general labour tasks.

You may find this job interesting for you if you have worked as a General Labourer, Factory Worker, Production Worker or Warehouse Worker. Not to worry though, we accept all applicants from all types of backgrounds for this role, as no experience is required. Appropriate training will be provided.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Distilling solvent chemicals and wastes in the solvent recycling unit.
  • Lifting, loading and unloading trucks
  • Moving solvents and wastes containers from customer premises.
  • Using pumps for transferring liquid
  • Consolidating pails into larger containers
  • Report to plant manager for scheduling of orders

Knowledge, skills Experience and Physical requirements:

  • Possess a High school diploma or equivalent required (we accept all applicants from all types of backgrounds for this role)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods and work under various temperature conditions
  • Comfortable working in a waste and chemical solvent plant with odour
  • Manual dexterity required for performing a variety of nimble tasks in sequence
  • Ability to work with hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to follow standardized work instructions
  • Ability and license to operate a forklift (nice to have)
