Job Overview
F&H AG Services is hiring a Farm Supervisor to support daily beef cattle ranching and farming operations, including feedlot work, in Two Hills, Alberta. This role is ideal for a practical, hands-on leader who can organize daily tasks, guide staff, and maintain high standards for animal welfare, herd performance, and farm safety. You will oversee calving and breeding programs, monitor animal health, coordinate treatments within farm protocols, maintain clear records and logs, and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. If you are organized, safety-minded, and ready to lead in a demanding livestock environment, this is an excellent opportunity for permanent full-time employment with LMIA support available for eligible international candidates.

Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience in beef cattle operations, feedlots, livestock supervision, or similar farm leadership roles
Work Site Environment
- Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots
- Dusty, noisy conditions with livestock odours
- Livestock handling environment requiring strong safety awareness

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)
- Organize tasks to accomplish the work efficiently and ensure daily priorities are completed
- Hire, train, direct, and motivate staff; assign duties and monitor performance
- Handle animals safely and humanely, ensuring proper techniques are used by all workers
- Monitor the calving process and respond promptly to issues requiring intervention or escalation
- Monitor animal health daily and identify concerns early to protect herd welfare and productivity
- Treat livestock health issues as directed and within farm protocols; coordinate additional support when needed
- Carry out pasture or pen breeding programs and support breeding schedules and tracking
- Maintain livestock performance records, including breeding, calving, health, and productivity notes
- Maintain work records and logs, including labour allocation, completed tasks, and operational updates
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment; organize routine checks and report mechanical issues
- Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
- Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed by all staff, including controlled movement, hygiene routines, and safe equipment practices
- Perform general farm duties and provide hands-on support during peak workload periods or emergencies

- Physically demanding work with a large workload and changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail required for animal health monitoring, breeding records, and safety compliance
