Job Overview
Amir Siddiqui is seeking an experienced and dependable Nanny to provide attentive, safety-focused childcare in a non-smoking private home in Vancouver, British Columbia. This role is ideal for a caregiver who is confident with infant routines (diapers, bottle sterilization, formula preparation), can maintain structured daily schedules, and supports children’s emotional well-being and development through positive guidance and age-appropriate activities. You will also keep clear daily records, prepare nutritious meals, and complete light housekeeping related to childcare. CPR and First Aid are required. Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

• 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant childcare experience (private home, nannying, daycare, or similar)

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Supervise and care for children, ensuring attentive supervision and safety at all times
• Change diapers and support infant care routines with cleanliness and comfort
• Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas according to instructions and safe feeding practices
• Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children and support consistent daily routines
• Prepare infants and children for rest periods and maintain calm nap/quiet-time routines
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to preferences and any dietary guidance provided
• Organize activities such as games and outings that support learning, movement, and social development
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, encouraging positive habits and respectful behaviour
• Tend to emotional well-being of children through calm communication, reassurance, and positive guidance
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children (meals, naps, diaper changes, routines, concerns)
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, including tidy child spaces and hazard awareness
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to childcare (tidying toys, cleaning after meals/activities, maintaining child areas)
• Communicate clearly with the employer regarding schedules, routines, and any concerns
