Job Overview
Coast Cranberries Ltd. is hiring Seasonal General Farm Workers (Harvesting) to support berry and mixed crop operations in Langley, British Columbia. This role is ideal for hardworking, reliable individuals who enjoy outdoor work and can perform physically demanding tasks in wet/damp conditions and all weather. You will support crop care and harvest operations including planting, weeding, fertilizing, picking, sorting, grading, packing, and field cleanup, with opportunities to work around farm machinery and equipment depending on experience. On-site housing options are available, and transportation is provided by the employer, making this a strong seasonal opportunity for candidates seeking stable full-time hours with potential bonus earnings.

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops according to farm schedules and instructions
• Weed, clean the crops, tie and secure plants, and complete general crop maintenance
• Apply fertilizers, including mixing fertilizer as directed and following safe handling procedures
• Fertilize and spray crops following instructions and safety requirements
• Pick row and orchard crops and harvest crops at the correct ripeness and quality standards
• Cut agricultural crops and perform seed cutting tasks as assigned
• Sort fruits and vegetables and grade produce by size, shape, colour, and volume to meet market standards
• Pack fruits and vegetables carefully for storage, shipment, or sale
• Clear and collect brush and debris from fields and other work areas; clear fields of wood and stones
• Level earth to fine grade specifications when assigned
• Clean work areas and maintain tidy, safe spaces around harvest and packing activities
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment when assigned and trained; report issues promptly
