Job Overview
Faiza Ebadi is seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Support Worker (Home Support) to provide one-on-one assistance in a private home setting in Milton, Ontario. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, organized, and committed to respectful care for an elderly female client and/or a person with a disability. You will assist with personal care, medication routines as directed, meal preparation, companionship, light housekeeping, laundry, shopping, and support with regular exercise such as walking. Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis, staff accommodation/on-site housing options may be available, and relocation costs are covered by the employer for candidates who need to relocate. Public transportation is available.

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

• 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience in home support, caregiving, PSW assistance, or similar work
• On-the-job orientation may be provided for household routines and client preferences

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Provide personal care support with respect for privacy, dignity, and comfort
• Administer medications as directed and follow established schedules and instructions carefully
• Assist in regular exercise such as walking and basic mobility routines as appropriate
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to preferences and any dietary guidance provided
• Provide companionship, supportive conversation, and emotional reassurance
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe, tidy, and comfortable home environment
• Launder clothing and household linens; fold, store, and keep items organized
• Shop for food and household supplies and help maintain basic household stock levels
• Observe and report changes in routine, appetite, mobility, mood, or overall well-being to the employer promptly
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries in a private home environment
