Job Overview
Sunset Motel is hiring a dependable Room Attendant to support daily housekeeping and guest service in Cache Creek, British Columbia. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and communicates respectfully with guests. You will clean and prepare rooms, change linens, restock towels and toiletries, assist with laundry, respond to guest requests, and help maintain a welcoming property. Experience is an asset, but training can be provided for motivated candidates with strong attention to detail and reliable work habits.

Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required

Experience

• Experience is an asset (hotel/motel housekeeping, cleaning, janitorial, or similar)
• On-the-job training provided

Work Setting

• Motel housekeeping and guest service environment
• Daily room turnovers with quality and time targets

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change sheets to motel standards
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries and restock guest supplies
• Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties throughout rooms and common areas as assigned
• Launder clothing and household linens; sort, wash, dry, fold, and store linens
• Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items in a polite, timely manner
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns professionally and report issues to a supervisor when needed
• Disinfect operating rooms and other areas when required by the worksite or assignment
• Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene when required, ensuring privacy, dignity, and safety
