Responsibilities

• Assess children’s development to prepare tailored learning plans.
• Lead activities such as storytelling, singing, and local excursions.
• Encourage creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activities.
• Guide and assist children with eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
• Prepare snacks and arrange spaces for lunch and rest periods.
• Submit written observations of children to supervisors.
• Discuss children’s progress and challenges at staff meetings.
• Maintain compliance with licensing regulations.
• Establish and foster relationships with co-workers and community service providers.
• Plan and organize before-and-after school programs for school-age children.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of other ECEs and assistants.

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Credentials:

• Child Development Supervisor (ECE Level 3)
• First Aid Certificate
• CPR Certificate
