Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive homemaking services, such as cleaning, cooking, laundry, and household management.
• Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities and events.
• Deliver personal care services per the care plan, ensuring clients’ comfort and safety.
• Assist clients with daily living activities tailored to their unique needs.
• Observe and document client conditions; report changes to the Supervisor promptly.
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols.
• Perform specialized procedures when trained and competent.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited caregiver training program or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong understanding of caregiving principles and customer service.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; French proficiency is an asset.
• Ability to physically assist clients, including lifting up to 23 kgs, squatting, bending, and standing.
• Reliable transportation; a driver’s license and automobile are assets.
• Clear Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
