Job Title: Project Manager (Research Experience)

Pay: $49.16–$61.45 per hour
Job Type: Temporary, Full-time (14 months)
The University Health Network (UHN) is seeking a Project Manager to join the Digital Project Management Office (PMO) team at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. This role involves leading critical initiatives within the Research Experience Program, enhancing data archiving and migration, improving research integration, and driving digital innovation. The Project Manager will apply best practices in project and change management to ensure high-quality deliverables, effective stakeholder coordination, and sustained value across the UHN system.

Position Summary
The Project Manager will focus on:
Archiving historical data and decommissioning legacy systems.
Collaborating with diverse teams to streamline digital processes.
Driving integration and operational improvements across UHN and the broader healthcare system.
This is a hybrid role reporting to the Senior Project Manager, offering flexible work arrangements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop project charters, plans, and schedules to define scope, budgets, risks, and controls.
- Apply project management and change management practices to deliver results.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and documentation using best practices.
- Collaborate with Digital and business areas to prioritize and execute initiatives.
- Provide progress reports and presentations to stakeholders and executives.
- Oversee procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
- Facilitate requirements gathering, testing, and solution implementation.
- Implement operational plans and ensure sustainability of delivered projects.
- Coach and manage multidisciplinary project teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent.
- Undergraduate degree in Health Informatics, Technology, Business, or related fields (Master’s degree preferred).
- PMP certification required; additional certifications (Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, etc.) are assets.
- Experience with application/system integration, IT infrastructure, and data migration projects.
- Familiarity with healthcare information systems, HL7, and cybersecurity regulations is advantageous.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
