Job Overview
Domric International Ltd. is looking for motivated Greenhouse Workers to join our growing operation in Ruthven, Ontario. This is a great opportunity for candidates, including foreign workers, who want stable, long-term employment and are ready for active, hands-on work with plants. No previous greenhouse experience or formal education is required—full training will be provided. You will work inside modern greenhouse facilities, helping to grow healthy plants while learning valuable skills in horticulture and commercial agriculture.

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants according to production standards
• Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings into pots, trays, or growing media
• Water and tend to plants, including monitoring moisture levels and using irrigation systems as trained
• Report signs of insect, disease, or other plant damage to supervisors promptly
• Help apply basic plant care practices (staking, tying, spacing, trimming) as instructed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including walkways and workstations
• Follow all greenhouse hygiene and biosecurity procedures to protect plant health
• Handle plants and materials carefully to prevent damage and maintain quality
• Assist with general greenhouse tasks as needed during planting, growing, and harvest cycles

• Public transportation is not available in this rural area
• Travel expenses are not paid by employer

• Fast-paced environment with production targets
