Job Overview
GREATSELL FULFILLMENT YYZ is an e‑commerce-focused fulfillment and logistics company serving clients across Canada and internationally. We are looking for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our Brampton facility. In this role, you will coordinate a team of warehouse associates, manage inventory and order flow, and ensure that receiving, picking, packing, and shipping are completed accurately and on time. You will be responsible for the operational logistics of the warehouse, staff training, safety, and continuous improvement. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented leader with warehousing experience who wants to step into a key supervisory role with strong earning potential and long-term career growth in logistics.

Education

• College/CEGEP diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is preferred (equivalent education and experience may be considered)

Experience

• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, fulfillment, or distribution environment
• Previous experience in a lead hand, team lead, or supervisor role is a strong asset
• Experience with e‑commerce order fulfillment and inventory systems is an advantage

Work Setting

• Warehouse / fulfillment centre environment in Brampton, ON
• Mix of office-based coordination and on-floor supervision
• Fast-paced, high-volume setting with tight deadlines and daily shipping targets

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Plan, organize, and coordinate daily warehouse operations to meet productivity, quality, and service level targets
• Organize tasks and assign responsibilities to accomplish work efficiently across receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and returns
• Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including inbound and outbound freight, order flow, and storage optimization
• Plan and organize operational logistics with management, including peak-season readiness, staffing levels, and workflow improvements
• Coordinate activities with other work units or departments such as customer service, purchasing, and transportation to ensure smooth operations
• Co-ordinate, assign, and review work for a team of warehouse staff (5–10 people), monitoring performance and providing daily direction
• Train workers in job duties, standard operating procedures, warehouse systems, safety policies, and quality standards
• Organize and maintain inventory, including regular cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and stock location accuracy
• Arrange for maintenance and repair work for warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyor systems, scanners) in coordination with service providers
• Resolve work problems and operational bottlenecks; provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity, accuracy, and product quality
• Ensure that food, consumer, or other products are handled, stored, and shipped according to company standards and any client or regulatory requirements (as applicable)
• Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with health and safety regulations and internal policies; promote a strong safety culture
• Prepare and submit operational reports on productivity, errors, inventory accuracy, staffing, and other key metrics
• Support the development and enforcement of warehouse procedures, work instructions, and best practices
• Participate in and support continuous improvement initiatives, including layout changes, process re-design, and technology adoption
• Communicate clearly and regularly with management and team members regarding priorities, changes, and performance expectations

Supervision

• 5–10 people (warehouse associates, pickers/packers, shippers/receivers, and other related roles)

Credentials (Certificates, Licences, Memberships, Courses)

• Forklift Operator Certification required or willingness to obtain shortly after hiring
• WHMIS and other safety-related training are assets

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• Fast-paced environment with multiple, often competing priorities
• Work under pressure to meet shipping deadlines and service-level commitments
• Handling heavy loads and occasional lifting of boxes, packages, and materials (within reasonable safety limits)
• Combination of walking, standing, and some desk/computer work throughout the day
• Need for high attention to detail when reviewing orders, documentation, labels, and inventory locations
• Working in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures, noise, and frequent movement of equipment and goods
