Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Administer bedside and personal care in a respectful, privacy-focused manner
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other aspects of personal hygiene
• Administer medications as directed and follow established routines and instructions
• Provide personal care support throughout the day and during flexible hours as required
• Assist in regular exercise such as walking, as appropriate for the client’s ability and comfort
• Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious meals according to preferences and any dietary guidance provided
• Shop for food and household supplies as assigned and keep basic household items stocked
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a tidy, safe, and comfortable environment
• Launder clothing and household linens; fold, store, and keep items organized
• Mend clothing and linens when needed (minor repairs)
• Provide companionship, supportive conversation, and emotional reassurance
• Observe and report changes in routine, comfort, mobility, appetite, or overall well-being to the employer promptly
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries while working in a private home
