Job Overview
Jing Yi Li is seeking a caring and dependable Home Child Care Provider to support daily childcare needs in a non-smoking, scent-free private home in Vancouver, British Columbia. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, reliable, and attentive to child safety and routines. You will supervise and care for children, prepare nutritious meals, organize age-appropriate activities and outings, assist with homework, and support transportation to school and appointments. If you enjoy working with children and can maintain a calm, clean environment while following parents’ preferred guidance and discipline methods, this is a strong opportunity for full-time contract work with LMIA sponsorship available for eligible international candidates.
Languages: English
Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Or equivalent experience
Experience
- 1 to less than 7 months of relevant childcare experience (private home, nannying, babysitting, daycare support, or similar)
- On-the-job orientation will be provided for household routines and expectations
Work Site Environment
- Non-smoking
- Scent free (no perfumes, fragranced products, or strong scents while working)

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)
- Supervise and care for children, ensuring attentive supervision and safety at all times
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, including tidy child spaces and hazard awareness
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to family preferences and any dietary guidance provided
- Organize activities such as games and outings that support learning, movement, and social development
- Help children with homework and encourage positive learning routines
- Take children to and from school and to appointments as required, following agreed schedules
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, using calm and consistent approaches
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to childcare (cleaning up after meals/activities, tidying toys, maintaining child areas)
- Communicate clearly with parents regarding routines, schedules, and any concerns

- Ability to manage multiple tasks while keeping children engaged and supported
- Must respect scent-free requirements and maintain a clean, low-odour environment
