Job Overview
Tim Hortons in Bracebridge is hiring a Food Service Supervisor to lead daily front-of-house and kitchen operations in a busy coffee shop/restaurant environment. This role is ideal for a dependable, customer-focused leader who can organize shift workflows, keep service standards high, and coach team members to perform safely and efficiently during peak periods. You will establish work schedules and methods, supervise food preparation and portioning, ensure quality control, handle customer concerns professionally, and maintain accurate records and reports. Experience

• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service, quick service restaurant (QSR), coffee shop operations, or shift leadership/supervision

• Supervise 5–10 people (team size may vary by shift and season)

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure smooth shift flow during rush periods
• Establish work schedules and assign tasks to ensure proper coverage and productivity
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures and reinforce standards consistently
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards for speed, accuracy, freshness, and presentation
• Supervise and check assembly of trays and ensure orders are correct and complete
• Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys when applicable to site operations
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns professionally and resolve issues quickly to protect guest experience
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage; support inventory control and waste reduction
• Prepare and submit reports as required for management review and shift handover
• Promote a clean, organized, and safe workplace and ensure compliance with store policies and procedures
