Job Overview
Rebecca Salim is seeking a compassionate and dependable Live-in Caregiver to provide daily personal care and home support in a private home setting in King City, Ontario. This role supports a person with a disability and may also involve care for a client living with Alzheimer’s disease. The ideal candidate is patient, respectful, and safety-minded, with the ability to follow routines closely and provide consistent, dignity-first support. You will assist with medication routines as directed, hygiene, feeding support, meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, and companionship to help maintain comfort, stability, and a safe living environment. Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis, but it is not a condition of employment.

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 to less than 7 months of relevant caregiving/home support experience
On-the-job orientation may be provided for household routines and client preferences

Work Setting

Work in employer’s/client’s home

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

Administer medications as directed and follow established schedules and instructions carefully
Assist with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, including grooming and dressing support
Feed or assist in feeding and ensure meals are provided safely and respectfully
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to preferences and any dietary guidance provided
Provide personal care support throughout the day according to routines and care needs
Provide companionship, supportive conversation, and emotional reassurance
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe, tidy, and comfortable home environment
Launder clothing and household linens; fold, store, and keep items organized
Observe and report changes in routine, mood, appetite, mobility, or overall well-being to the employer promptly
Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries in a private home setting

Additional Assets (Preferred)

First Aid/CPR certification (asset)
