Job Overview
C.S. Constructors Inc is hiring an experienced Carpenter to support residential and commercial construction and renovation projects across Etobicoke and surrounding GTA locations. This role is ideal for a skilled, detail-oriented tradesperson who can work independently, follow plans accurately, and deliver strong finishes that meet project specifications. You will perform core framing and installation work, including foundations, floors, walls, and roof systems, as well as windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware. Languages: English or French
Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
Experience
- 3 years to less than 5 years of carpentry experience in construction, renovation, maintenance, or repair
- Experience working on both residential and commercial projects is an asset

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Interpret work instructions, measurements, and layout requirements to ensure accurate builds and installations
- Maintain quality workmanship and ensure finished work meets project standards
- Use carpentry tools and equipment safely, keeping work areas clean and organized
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to keep work progressing on schedule
- Identify issues such as misalignment, damaged materials, or structural concerns and report/resolve them appropriately
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
- Physically demanding work on active construction sites
- Frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling
- Handling heavy loads and materials
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and safe practices

Additional Assets (Preferred)
- Familiarity with renovation work and repair tasks in occupied or active sites
- Ability to read basic drawings and specifications (asset)
- Own basic hand tools (asset, if applicable to the employer’s expectations)
- Valid driver’s license (asset due to various job sites)
