We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Health Care Aides (HCA) to join our team in providing essential care and companionship to our clients in Calgary’s North and South areas.

Role and Responsibilities

Advertisements
  • Provide personalized care based on the client’s custom care plan.
  • Support daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and peri care.
  • Assist with medication administration and meal preparation.
  • Offer companionship and promote social engagement.
  • Monitor and report health changes to Nurse Managers.
  • Document care activities through a mobile home care app.
  • Perform light housekeeping and assist with appointments or outings.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and team members to achieve care goals.

Requirements for Employment

  • Health Care Aide Certification or equivalent education.
  • Registration on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory.
  • Valid HCP/BLS CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • A Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check within the last 6 months (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client homes.
