Responsibilities:

• As a healthcare aide in this role, your primary responsibility will be to deliver compassionate and personalized care to our clients in Didsbury. Your duties may include:
• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Providing support with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Medication Management: Assisting with medication reminders and administration as necessary.
• Companionship: Engaging in meaningful conversations, offering emotional support, and participating in activities that enhance our clients’ well-being.
• Meal Preparation: Preparing nutritious meals based on dietary requirements and preferences.
• Transportation: Accompanying clients to appointments, social outings, or other engagements, ensuring their safety and comfort.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a healthcare aide working in homecare and healthcare aide certificate
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient demeanour.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
