Job Overview
The Gray Family is seeking a respectful and dependable Home Health Care Worker to provide daily support in a non-smoking private home in Scarborough, Ontario. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, organized, and committed to dignity-first care for an elderly female client and a person with a disability. You will assist with personal hygiene and bedside care, support safe mobility and light exercise (such as walking), prepare nutritious meals, provide companionship, and help maintain a clean and comfortable home environment. Optional live-in accommodation is available at no charge, but it is not a condition of employment.

Languages: English

Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Or equivalent experience

Experience

Experience is an asset (home care, caregiving, PSW support, companion care, or disability support)
Training/orientation will be provided for household routines and client preferences

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

Administer bedside and personal care while maintaining privacy, dignity, and comfort
Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other aspects of personal hygiene
Provide personal care support throughout the day according to established routines
Assist in regular exercise such as walking and gentle movement activities as appropriate
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to preferences and any dietary guidance provided
Provide companionship, supportive conversation, and emotional reassurance
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe, tidy, and comfortable home environment
Mend clothing and linens when needed (minor repairs)
Observe and report changes in routine, appetite, mobility, mood, or overall well-being to the family promptly
Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries in a private home environment

Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Ability to work independently and complete tasks reliably while following instructions
