Job Overview
Crow Rock Camp, Inc. is seeking a dependable Room Attendant to support housekeeping and guest services during our busy season in Longbow Lake, Ontario. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in cleanliness, and can deliver friendly, professional service in a camp environment. You will clean and prepare guest rooms/cabins and shared facilities, restock linens and amenities, assist with laundry, respond to guest requests, and help maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Experience is an asset, but we will train motivated candidates who are reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to work as part of a team in a seasonal hospitality setting.

Experience

• Experience is an asset (housekeeping, hotel/camp cleaning, lodge work, janitorial, or similar)
• On-the-job training provided

Work Setting

• Seasonal camp/lodge hospitality environment
• Mix of guest rooms/cabins and shared facilities
• Work requires consistent quality standards and respectful guest interaction

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
• Dust furniture and wipe surfaces, including high-touch areas
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change sheets to camp standards
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries and restock guest supplies as needed
• Stock linen closet and maintain organized housekeeping supplies
• Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Clean changing rooms and showers and maintain hygiene standards in shared areas
• Clean and disinfect elevators (where applicable on site)
• Disinfect operating rooms and other areas (where applicable based on facility needs)
• Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as required
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers; replace liners and maintain neat surroundings
• Launder clothing and household linens; sort, wash, dry, fold, and store
• Handle and report lost and found items according to camp procedures
• Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items in a friendly, timely manner
• Provide basic information on facilities and direct guests appropriately
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns professionally and report issues to a supervisor when required
• Serve food and beverages when assigned and support basic hospitality service needs as required
• Report maintenance issues (broken fixtures, leaks, damaged items) promptly to ensure rooms are guest-ready
