Job Overview
Teresa Almond is seeking a compassionate and dependable Live-in Caregiver to provide consistent personal care and daily living support in a private home setting in Victoria, British Columbia. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, organized, and committed to maintaining comfort, safety, and dignity. You will assist with personal hygiene, medication routines as directed, feeding support, regular exercise such as walking, meal preparation, companionship, and light housekeeping to help maintain a clean and safe home environment. Room and board are provided, and experience is an asset, but motivated candidates with a caring attitude and willingness to follow routines are encouraged to apply.

Experience

• Experience is an asset (home care, personal support, companion care, or similar)
• Training/orientation will be provided for household routines and client preferences

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Provide personal care support with respect for privacy, dignity, and comfort
• Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, including grooming and dressing support
• Administer medications as directed and follow established schedules and instructions carefully
• Feed or assist in feeding and ensure meals are provided safely and respectfully
• Assist in regular exercise such as walking and basic mobility routines as appropriate
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to preferences and any dietary guidance provided
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a tidy, safe, and comfortable home environment
• Provide companionship, supportive conversation, and emotional reassurance
• Observe and report changes in routine, appetite, mobility, mood, or overall well-being to the employer promptly
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries in a private home setting
